inAtlas Participates in ESADE 2012 – INNOVATION SUMMIT

By inAtlas Press, November 16, 2012

inAtlas participates in the Smart Cities Panel of ESADE 2012 – INNOVATION SUMMIT.

•  Smart Cities Panel

How could technology have mitigated the impact of hurricane Sandy? What are the options for making our cities more resilient, responsive, efficient and productive? This panel will explore how intelligent data management, innovative building design and community programs, among other tools and practices, can help urban centers meet the increasing needs of their growing populations.

Building smarter cities is not only a huge business opportunity but also an urgent global need. At 3.6 billion, urban dwellers already account for more than half of the global population.  Over the next fifty years, these numbers are projected to grow further- both in absolute terms and in proportion to rural population. Innovative solutions, like those that will be discussed in the Smart Cities panel, which are able to manage resources and support businesses in urban centers will be in ever more demand in the years to come.
